Why Become A Member?

The Treasure Coast Manufacturers Association (TCMA) brings together manufacturers, distributors, logistics providers, and industry partners to strengthen and grow the manufacturing sector across Florida’s Treasure Coast. By focusing on shared challenges and opportunities, TCMA advocates for business-friendly policies, supports workforce development, and creates meaningful connections that help members thrive.

As a TCMA member, your organization gains access to valuable resources, industry insights, and a powerful regional network. Member benefits include:

Membership Meetings & Networking Events
TCMA hosts regular meetings, mixers, and special events designed to connect industry professionals across the manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem. Members receive updates on industry trends, workforce initiatives, economic development efforts, and policy issues impacting manufacturing. These gatherings create valuable opportunities to collaborate with peers and build strategic partnerships.

Manufacturing Plant Tours
Seeing innovation in action is one of the most impactful ways to learn. TCMA plant tours give members a behind-the-scenes look at local manufacturing operations across the Treasure Coast. These tours allow manufacturers to showcase their processes, technologies, and workforce while fostering collaboration with fellow industry leaders, educators, economic development partners, and community stakeholders.

Educational Workshops, Seminars & Workforce Training
Knowledge drives innovation and growth. TCMA provides educational programs and expert-led workshops addressing the key challenges manufacturers face, from workforce development and talent recruitment to operational best practices and emerging technologies.

Through strong partnerships with institutions such as Indian River State College, TCMA actively shapes workforce pipelines and supports educational programs that prepare students for high-demand careers in manufacturing, logistics, and advanced technologies.

Legislative & Government Advocacy
TCMA serves as a unified voice for the manufacturing community across the Treasure Coast. The association works closely with local, regional, and state leaders to advocate for policies that support business growth, workforce development, infrastructure investment, and a strong manufacturing economy.

Industry Collaboration & Strategic Partnerships
TCMA maintains ongoing engagement with partners such as FloridaMakes, the Treasure Coast Builders Association, the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), regional economic development organizations, CareerSource, and educational institutions, including Indian River State College.

Small Business Development Center Resources

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is the state’s principal provider of small business assistance. What began with one man at the University of West Florida overseeing two centers in Northwest Florida has grown to a vibrant statewide partnership of more than 40 centers and over 250 employees providing tools, training, and expertise to thousands of Florida’s small businesses each year. Hosted by Indian River State College, the Florida SBDC at IRSC provides aspiring and existing small businesses in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee counties with no-cost consulting, low-cost training, and access to business data and research resources.

TCMA members get automatic access to SBDC resources. Visit floridasbdc.org to learn more.
