TCMA offers two types of memberships:
Full members are defined as those firms involved in manufacturing, distribution and wholesale trade. Membership is available to firms in the Treasure Coast region – St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties and other areas.
– Small Manufacturing/Distributing/Wholesale Trade <50 employees $300 annually – Medium-Large Manufacturing/Distributing/Wholesale Trade >51 employees $500 annually
Affiliate members may be any person or entity affiliated with providing supporting services to manufacturing companies. Affiliate Members shall not be considered members for the purposes of voting or establishing a quorum. $750 annually

Focusing on mutual areas of concern pertaining to the industry, TCMA promotes the collective interests of manufacturing, distribution and wholesale trade companies, including advocacy for business-friendly public policy. TCMA will provide the following member benefits:
Membership Meetings and Mixers – TCMA meetings and events include updates on industry specific challenges, resources and services available to manufacturing and logistics companies and opportunities to build and enhance vendor supplier relationships.
Plant Tours – On-site learning leaves a lasting impression. That’s why TCMA members are opening their doors and inviting industry leaders, economic development representatives, student groups, and government leaders to tour their facilities and operations, sharing expertise and shedding light on the diverse contributions of manufacturers.
Educational Workshops/Seminars and Training – Knowledge empowers – TCMA members are part of a dynamic forum that provides guidance on key issues impacting the day-to-day operations of manufacturers. TCMA and partners present work sessions with industry experts on best practices in manufacturing and logistics, human resource challenges, talent development, employment and recruiting, along with resources for expanding companies. Closely aligned with Indian River State College and Keiser University, one of our most important roles is working with the colleges to develop curriculums that prepare the workforce for jobs in manufacturing and distribution.
Legislative and Local Government Advocacy
Coordination with National Association of Manufacturers, Manufacturers Association of Florida, South Florida Manufacturers Association and other regional associations.
Small Business Development Center Resources
Celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is the state’s principal provider of small business assistance. What began with one man at the University of West Florida overseeing two centers in Northwest Florida has grown to a vibrant statewide partnership of more than 40 centers and over 250 employees providing tools, training, and expertise to thousands of Florida’s small businesses each year. Hosted by Indian River State College, the Florida SBDC at IRSC provides aspiring and existing small businesses in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties with no-cost consulting, low-cost training, and access to business data and research resources.

Industrial Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship
In need of skilled employees? The Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT) Apprenticeship Program, sponsored by CareerSource Research Coast, is a competency-based training program requiring 2,000-hours of on-the-job training and 200 hours of online courses from MSSC. Registered Apprenticeships provide the opportunity to custom train a ready workforce for your business.

Committees
TCMA members can choose a committee to join with their membership. We have the following committees:
Events – This committee will plan events such as tours, job fairs, lunch and learns, and membership meetings. The committee will meet via conference monthly for approximately one hour.
Government – This committee will work with the membership and our government partners to create a strong alliance and address challenges facing manufacturers. The committee will meet via conference quarterly or as needed.
Membership – This committee will work together to retain and attract members to TCMA. The committee will contact existing members and reach out to new potential members. The committee will meet via conference every other month or as needed.
Bylaws – This committee will review current bylaws and recommend necessary changes and additions to the board. The committee will meet via conference call as needed.
Education – This committee will work with our partners, such as CareerSource Research Coast and Indian River State College, to provide educational resources for our manufacturers. The group will review incentives available to assist with training as well as technical courses available for our manufacturers. The committee will meet via conference call as needed.
